A Sterling Silver necklace with enamelled engraved Galleon and Swallow motifs on a long, strong chain. The motifs have been engraved within handbuilt frames with a layer of enamel over the top. The central oval Galleon frame is loveable on the chain and surrounded by loops, 2 Aquamarine and textured silver bands. The swallow hangs to one side and on the other an enamelled motifs of tidal patterns. The ship has an Emily Dickinson fragment engraved on the back which reads' And on the strangest sea'. There are also some textured loops acting as drops for a relaxed, motify necklace.
The chain is thick and strong and the necklace closes with a bolt ring clasp with a second closure loop for adjustment so that it can be worn to suit different necklines. Full length is 56.5cm with the ability to adjust down 5 cms to 51cm
