A Sterling Silver necklace with engraved Galleon and layered translucent enamel in a hand built silver frame. The frame measure 2cm by 1.3cm and is enameled with rich blues and a hint of gold and the ship's rigging is silhouetted against this. The reverse of the frame is engraved with a small illustration of mer people. A small faceted sapphire hangs to one side. I have long worked with versions of the ship motif and they represent many things to me.
The chain is narrow but dense and strong. The necklace closes with a bolt ring and has a length of 51cm that is adjustable to 50.5 cm
