A Sterling Silver link Bracelet with lines from an Emily Dickinson poem and corresponding motifs. The links are hammer marked for a worked, light catching feel. The lettered overlapping panels read ' But no Man moved Me-till the Tide/Went past my simple Shoe-/ 'And past my Apron-and my Belt/And past my Bodice-too' from Emily Dickinson poem 520 ' I started Early'. The motifs are a shell, a Simple Shoe and a a belt and some buckles on silver panels and drops. The Bracelet closes with an extra large bolt ring which prevents loss and is also easy to open and close unaided. This piece is 20.5 cm long and can clasp down to smaller sizes closing on any loop.
