A thick rubber necklet with an engraved ship in Chrysocolla. The Chrysocolla is a hand cut slab measuring 3.5cm x 2.25 cm ( though obviously all sides taper) with a thickness of 3mm. Its colouring is interspersed dark and light blues-and a Galleon and lines from the Tempest reading ' but doth suffer a sea-change' have been engraved on the front. The back has a jellyfish and a shell as well as some slighly unclear mer people. There is also the second half of the line reading ' Into something rich and strange'.
The rubber necklet is 18inches/45.5 cm long and a thick 5mm wide. Soft and comfortable to wear,
it closes with a Sterling Silver Bayonet clasp
This is a handmade one off piece that was made as part of a collection of work for 'Tresor' when I was exploring Scrimshaw via wrecks, ships and fishing.
