A Sterling Silver necklace with engraved ship and layered translucent enamel in a handbuilt silver frame.
The frame measures 1.8 cm by 1.8cm, in a square/diamond shape and is enameled with darker greens and blues- and the ship is silhouetted against this. I have long worked with versions of the ship motif and they represent many things to me.
The chain is light and very long, but strong. The necklace closes with a bolt ring and has a full long length of 61.5 cm which is then adjustable to 56 cm and 52 cm to wear with different necklines. The photos illustrate the necklace worn at all 3 lengths. although it is long, its a very dainty necklace.
