Handmade Drop Earrings with engraved antique Mermaids on textured and patinated Brass with a second textured leaf  below and silver ear wires.
The double leafs are heavily hand scored and marked as well as patinated and Illustrated for a layered and time worn feel.
Sterling silver ear wires hold the main body with silver jump rings connecting to the Brass. The ear wires are capped with silicone stoppers to prevent loss.
 
Absolutely one of a kind-these are longish layered earrings -measuring approx 3.8 cm  in total length from the hook apex to the bottom of the earrings. The lower leaf measures 2.2cm x .5 cm. The images and Patina are on the smaller Brass oval which measures 1.6 x 1.3. The Patina has been sealed with wax. The earrings may continue to darken but can be reshined with any polishing method ( cloth, wire brush)or left to patinate further.
