A Sterling Silver necklace with engraved Galleon  Compass  and Swallow motifs and layered translucent enamel in hand built silver frames. The  illustrations have been enameled in mostly pale blue greys- with a bit of periwinkle too. There is an Amazonite and a Sapphire, as well as hammered loops, surrounding the central piece, which is able to slide along the chain to the two anchored points of the Compass motif and the Swallow motif
 
 
 
I have long worked with versions of the ship motif and they represent many things to me.
The chain is light but very dense and strong. The necklace closes with a bolt ring and has a full length of 54cm that is adjustable to 50 cm
